From here, continue to the peaceful village of Kunoy, beautifully nestled between soaring mountains and the sea on the island of the same name. The journey then leads to Viðareiði, the northernmost village in the Faroe Islands, renowned for its dramatic mountain scenery, rugged cliffs, and breathtaking panoramic views across the North Atlantic.

Today’s journey takes you to the saga island of Sandoy and the historic village of Kirkjubøur, offering a fascinating blend of Faroese history, culture, and stunning landscapes.
Traveling through the Faroe Islands’ newest subsea tunnel, you arrive on Sandoy, an island rich in folklore, legends, and centuries of history. As you drive from village to village, discover a quieter side of the Faroes, where green rolling landscapes, dramatic coastlines, and timeless traditions create a truly unique atmosphere.
In the afternoon, return towards Tórshavn with a stop in Kirkjubøur, the most important historical site in the Faroe Islands. Here, you will visit the nearly 900-year-old Roykstovan farmhouse, one of the world's oldest inhabited wooden houses, and St. Olav’s Church, built in 1111 and dedicated to King Olav the Holy. Remarkably, this beautiful church remains in use today, making it the oldest functioning church in the Faroe Islands.

Thursday
Today’s adventure takes you to Mykines, the westernmost island in the Faroe Islands and a true paradise for nature lovers and bird enthusiasts.
The day begins with a pickup from your hotel, followed by a drive to the ferry port in Sørvágur. From here, a scenic ferry crossing brings you across the North Atlantic to Mykines, often referred to as the "Puffin Island" due to its thriving seabird colonies and abundant wildlife.
Upon arrival, enjoy a guided walk through the charming village, where colourful houses and a timeless atmosphere offer a glimpse into life on one of the Faroes' most remote islands. From the village, set out on a hike across the island's spectacular landscapes, surrounded by dramatic cliffs, sweeping ocean views, and rich birdlife.
During the summer months, puffins can often be seen at close range, providing fantastic opportunities for photography and wildlife observation. Along the way, a packed lunch is included, allowing you time to pause, relax, and fully appreciate the island's unspoiled beauty.

Today’s excursion takes you into the very heart of the Faroe Islands, where some of the archipelago’s most picturesque villages and breathtaking landscapes await.
Your journey begins in Saksun, a timeless village set beside a tranquil tidal lagoon and surrounded by dramatic mountains. Here, you can admire the beautifully preserved church and soak in the serenity of one of the Faroes’ most iconic settings.
Continue to Tjørnuvík, the islands’ northernmost village on Streymoy, renowned for its striking black-sand beach and spectacular mountain backdrop. From the shore, enjoy magnificent views of the legendary sea stacks, Risin & Kellingin (The Giant and the Witch), which, according to Faroese folklore, once attempted to pull the Faroe Islands all the way to Iceland.
From here, the route passes beneath Slættaratindur, the highest peak in the Faroe Islands, before arriving in the charming village of Gjógv. Named after its remarkable natural sea-filled gorge, Gjógv is one of the country’s most beloved villages. Enjoy a leisurely lunch and time to explore the colourful houses, scenic walking paths, and peaceful surroundings at your own pace.
Along the way, you will also witness Fossá, the highest waterfall in the Faroe Islands, cascading dramatically down the mountainside in a series of stunning tiers.
On the return journey to Tórshavn, travel through the impressive subsea tunnel, famous for its unique underwater roundabout and striking light installation.
Saturday
Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Take the opportunity to explore Tórshavn, the charming capital of the Faroe Islands and often referred to as one of the world's smallest capitals.
