Tuesday
Today, set out from Tórshavn on a three-hour guided bike tour to Norðadalsskarð. Your journey begins in the city center, winding up the historic mountain road with stunning views of the northern islands. At Norðadalsskarð, 225 meters above sea level, you’ll be rewarded with spectacular vistas of the island of Koltur and the quaint village of Norðadal. On the return ride to Tórshavn, enjoy panoramic views of the southern islands, making this an unforgettable day on two wheels.

Wednesday
Today, we recommend discovering Tórshavn at your own pace. Stroll through the city and explore the historic district of Úti á Reyni, as well as the world’s oldest parliament, Tinganes. Don’t miss the 17th-century fort Skansin, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the marina and parts of downtown Tórshavn. Browse the Faroese wool and craft shops, relax in charming cafés, and end your day with a delicious dinner at one of the city’s excellent restaurants.
Thursday
Today, enjoy your second guided bike tour, a three-hour ride beginning in the heart of Tórshavn. Pedal through the city before heading up the mountain towards Kirkjubøur, one of the Faroe Islands’ most historic villages. Explore the only cathedral in the islands and the oldest church, then step inside the nearly 900-year-old Roykstovan, the oldest wooden house in the Faroes, which is still inhabited today. On your return to Tórshavn, cycle through the charming village of Velbastaður and cross the mountain pass once more, taking in breathtaking views of Sandoy, Hestur, Koltur, and Vágar along the way.

Friday
Today, immerse yourself in the Faroese mountains on a guided hike with Heimdal Tours, tracing the footsteps of the Vikings. Along the way, you’ll pass historic sites where battles were fought over 700 years ago, accompanied by thrilling stories from the past. The hike culminates at Sornfelli, offering breathtaking panoramic views over Vágar Island and the dramatic Trøllkonufingur (the Witches’ Finger). Afterward, enjoy a guided walking tour of Tórshavn’s historic district, Úti á Reyni. The combined experience lasts approximately four hours, blending adventure, history, and stunning scenery.
